At 34 years old, Cunningham and Rudge have been inseparable on the field since their school days, first teaming up in 2005. They stand as England's most capped female players, contributing significantly to the sport's growth. Their collaboration has brought numerous accolades to St Helens, including the Women's Super League title, two League Leaders' Shields, and four consecutive Women's Challenge Cups from 2021 to 2024.

Cunningham and Rudge were among the inaugural players for St Helens' women's team established in 2018. Cunningham served as co-captain starting in 2019 and became the club's sole captain in 2021, leading the team to historic victories, including a treble. She has made 95 appearances for the Saints, scoring 43 tries, and was named Woman of Steel in the 2021 Betfred Super League season. Rudge, who has captained the England women's national team, is celebrated for being one of only two players to have reached 100 appearances for St Helens, contributing with 48 tries.
