With a selection of vibrant colors including deep purple, black, blue, and green—where the latter two options come with aluminum backs—the device offers a modern aesthetic. Battery life has also seen improvement, lasting up to six weeks on a single charge, all starting at an affordable price of $150. For users opting for the aluminum version with 32GB capacity, the price rises to $190.

The basic model is priced at $200, while the Signature Edition, which adds an aluminum back and increased storage of 32GB, is available for $250.
Kindle Colorsoft: A New Hue
The 2nd generation Kindle Colorsoft has also received updates, including a slimmer design and a new Fig color option. Like the Paperwhite, it comes with a Signature Edition that features an aluminum back. The starting price for this device is $290, with the Signature Edition priced at $320.

In addition to the new devices, Amazon introduced a range of accessories aimed at enhancing the reading experience.
