Douglass, an established star known for her versatility, notably won the Olympic gold medal in the 200m breaststroke at the Paris 2024 Games. This latest achievement not only marked a personal best for Douglass but also featured a remarkable improvement from her previous record of 23.91 seconds, which she held jointly with her competitor and fellow swimmer, Gretchen Walsh.
