The Bobby Murcer Award is given to the team that raises the most money for B.A.T. among all American League teams. "He was most proud of this of anything he did," Kay Murcer said, reflecting on the growth of B.A.T. since Bobby's passing in 2008. "I think if he was to see what has happened, that was his hope."

Since its inception, B.A.T. has offered support to those in the baseball family encountering hardships, such as healthcare costs and daily living essentials. "My grandchildren accompany me to work with B.A.T., and I know that even when I stop going, they will continue to support it,” she shared.
