Companies like OpenAI and Anthropic are making significant strides with their respective coding agents, Codex and Claude Code. In the tech landscape, SpaceX has made headlines by acquiring Cursor, an AI coding startup for $60 billion.

Zuckerberg indicated that Meta's primary emphasis is not on being a developer tools company. He noted that coding can enhance self-improvement but insisted it isn't the singular focus. "People conflate coding with self-improvement more than they should," he remarked, illustrating that various factors contribute to an AI model being self-improving, beyond just coding capabilities.
