In a significant move for the upcoming season, Modern Sport Club has announced the signing of 29-year-old player Kamel Kabouria from Prokasy. This deal extends until the summer of 2030, marking him as the eleventh addition to the team during this transfer window.

Previous Transfers and Team Build-Up

Kabouria's acquisition follows a series of strategic signings aimed at bolstering the squad. Earlier in the transfer period, Modern Sport brought in notable players including goalkeeper Mahmoud Al-Znofly from Haras El-Hodood and the versatile Mohamed Gharib, popularly known as Tito, from El-Masry. Other key additions include Adham Nabil from Pyramids and Mustafa Gamal from the Egyptian premier division.

The club is keen on improving its performance after finishing 14th in the Egyptian league last season. The management has taken proactive steps to revamp the team in anticipation of the new season, which includes also adding Abd al-Rahman Rizk, known as El-Lomby, and others from clubs like El-Obour and KAH.

Coaching Changes

Modern Sport has also made a notable change in its coaching staff, bringing in Moroccan coach Mohamed Amin Ben Hashem to replace Ahmed Sami. This leadership transition underscores the club’s ambitions to rise through the league ranks and achieve better outcomes this year.

Preseason Preparations

The team has already kicked off its preseason with two commendable friendly victories, winning 6-1 against Kahn El-Khairiya and 2-1 against Nasr L-Eksport, showcasing their potential ahead of the competitive season.

With a mix of experienced newcomers and a fresh coaching approach, Modern Sport Club is gearing up to make a significant impact in the Egyptian league this year.
