Pledis Entertainment has confirmed that SEVENTEEN members DK and Vernon will begin their mandatory military service this summer. The announcement highlights the K-pop group's ongoing management of military enlistments, as several members have already begun their service.

According to the statement, DK, also known as Lee Seok-min, is scheduled to enlist in the Army on September 8, while Vernon, whose full name is Choi Hansol, will start his service on August 20. Both members will continue to participate in group activities until their respective enlistment dates. However, Pledis Entertainment has requested that fans avoid attending the enlistment ceremonies, due to the presence of families and other enlistees at the events.

Once they enlist, DK and Vernon will no longer be able to take part in SEVENTEEN activities. However, the agency confirmed they would maintain a connection with their fanbase, CARAT, through pre-recorded content prepared prior to their enlistment.
