Vendors at Dubai's Global Village Slash Prices as Season 30 Winds Down

As Season 30 of Dubai's Global Village approaches its end, vendors offer deep discounts to attract customers after the attraction's recent reopening.

Vendors Boost Sales with Discounts at Global Village

As Dubai's Global Village resumes operations after a 51-day hiatus due to regional unrest, vendors are eager to draw in customers by slashing prices in a bid to stimulate sales during the crucial final weeks of Season 30. Guests visiting the internationally-themed park can find an array of discounted bulk deals and special offers across its many pavilions.

Major Price Cuts to Attract Customers

A stroll through Global Village showcases vendors rolling out attractive deals, with many providing dedicated racks for specially priced items. For instance, within the Chinese pavilion, clothing vendors flaunted signs that highlighted enticing offers like 'three pieces for Dh100'. Vendors were actively encouraging shoppers to explore their goods with bright displays and loud promotions.

One vendor, Anne, noted the need for increased foot traffic after the park's closure. "Our brand new designs were selling for Dh150 per piece before Global Village closed," she explained. "Now that we are open again, we are offering pieces for as low as Dh100 for customers buying three or more items."

Positive Responses from Entrepreneurs

Another vendor, Anshad, expressed noticeable relief at Global Village's reopening, highlighting the importance of the entertainment destination for his 400 employees. "We have very high hopes that people will come in large numbers and we will be able to make the best of the remaining days of Global Village," he stated, indicating that he plans to introduce discounts to boost sales further.

With a focus on authentic spices and teas at the Sri Lankan pavilion, Anshad hopes demand will remain strong as the season comes to a close. "Usually, towards the end of the season, we do offer discounts to help drive up sales," he added.

Celebrating a Successful Reopening

In the Indian pavilion, another vendor chose to price his jewelry items attractively between Dh10 and Dh30 to encourage more sales and attract customers to his shop outside Global Village. "I am happy that Global Village has opened. On the very first day, I got a customer who bought five sets of jewelry from me. I am confident that by the end of the season, we will have some good sales," he remarked, underscoring the optimism coursing through the market as vendors work together to revive business.

With a diverse mix of offerings and the anticipation of a thriving atmosphere, vendors are keen to capitalize on visitor interest as Global Village gears up for its final weeks of this season.
