Starting this summer, the fitness tracking platform Whoop is set to enhance its user experience by offering in-app video consultations with licensed clinicians for members in the United States. In tandem with the launch of video consultations, Whoop will incorporate support for Electronic Health Record (EHR) syncing. This feature will enable users and their clinicians to conveniently access and review medical histories during consultations.

"Unlike traditional healthcare experiences that rely on brief, episodic snapshots, these consultations begin with a comprehensive understanding of the member's health, powered by months of continuous data and, when available, bloodwork and medical history," Whoop stated in their press release. However, the company has not yet disclosed the pricing structure for this service.

Leveraging Continuous Data for Better Health Insights

The new consultation service reflects Whoop's commitment to harnessing data from its wearable fitness devices. By analyzing continuous health metrics, these consultations will provide a deeper understanding of the user’s health, allowing clinicians to offer informed recommendations.
