Snabbit secures $56 million in funding, elevating valuation to $350 million as demand for home services surges in India.
Snabbit’s Successful Funding Round
Indian on-demand home services startup Snabbit has successfully closed a $56 million Series D funding round, significantly increasing its valuation to approximately $350 million. This funding round saw participation from notable investors, including Susquehanna Venture Capital, Mirae Asset, and Bertelsmann India Investments. The latest injection of capital marks a substantial rise from its previous valuation of about $180 million, achieved just six months prior.
Rising Investor Interest in Home Services
According to sources familiar with the funding details, existing backers such as Nexus Venture Partners and Lightspeed also took part, alongside newcomer FJ Labs. The total capital raised by Snabbit to date reaches nearly $112 million.
Founded in 2024, Snabbit has established itself as a major player in the rapid delivery of home services. With a workforce exceeding 15,000 across five major cities, the company is currently processing over 40,000 jobs daily, catering to the growing demand for services ranging from cleaning and dishwashing to laundry.
Operational Improvements and Market Growth
In a notable achievement, Snabbit has managed to reduce its loss per order by approximately 50% while also decreasing customer acquisition costs by nearly 65%. This operational efficiency is indicative of the startup's commitment to scalability as it expands its offerings in urban areas.
The timing of Snabbit's funding comes amid an uptick in investor interest in India's home services market. Competitors in the space, like Pronto, are also seeking to raise capital, while Urban Company, a publicly traded firm, has been recording more than one million monthly bookings. This competitive landscape reflects a vibrant and growing sector poised for continued expansion.
